This is the fabrication table where we layout and construct each piece. A pattern is produced to begin the process. The next step is to make a template which the glass pieces will match. then each piece of glass is scribed, broken, grozed when required, and ground into a precise match on a diamond bit grinder.
The next step involves foiling each piece and soldering the project together. Finally, the piece is meticulously cleaned, patina applied, came attached to the border and finally polished to a brilliant luster.. btw...glass will NEVER fade...colors remain as lustrous and crisp over time as the day the piece was produced. An occaisional cleaning with regular glass cleaning product is all that is required to maintain the piece..
